On Monday 31st July, we met with Richard Burgess and Bryn Hawkins from Somer Valley FM. They interviewed us for Bryn’s new show, which will be airing soon. Bryn is chair of the Miners Welfare Association and is therefore interested in all things coal related. Our canal fits perfectly into that subject. We had a fantastic few hours at Paulton Basin, where we explained all of the history of the canal and we were then interviewed for a show that will be aired on Somer Valley FM shortly.
